A lot of people don’t like change.

I don’t like change.

Wait… yes, I do. If it’s good change. If it’s change for the better.

The problem is, so often there’s no way to know which kind of change a change is—good or bad—until after it’s already been changed. Something might seem like a good change, but turn out to suck. And vice versa.

I don’t like that chance: the chance that I’ll be worse off than I am now.

That’s why I… avoid?

Except in some cases.
