Longtime readers will recall that last year I participated in National Novel Writing Month, quitting halfway through due to exhaustion and/or ambivalence. This year I will not be attempting to write a novel in 30 days, although I probably should. You know what else I should probably do? Get a job. But I’m not going to do that, so why don’t you keep your condescending comments to yourself, OK? You know, sometimes you people really get on my nerves.
