A letter home from my stay at the Institute for the Research and Treatment of Inappropriate Capitalization & Punctuation

Dear Sandy,

Tonight I arrived at the Institute for THE research and Treatment of Inappropriate Capitalization & Punctuation for my two-day, THREE-NIGHT TREATMENT program. I am GLAD TO REPORT that the, bus ride was smooth and UNEVENTFUL.

The staff was very helpful WHEN I arrived, directing Me to my—room and not MAKING fun of the way I filled OUT THE entry forms. My roommate IS NAMED Ben and IS from San/Francisco so we have “something in common”. Internet. ISN’T allowed here [for obvious} REASONS. So I will not be able to send THIS TO YOU until after my stay?

I think I! am GOING to learn a lot WHILE i’m here. IT IS NOW TIME FOR THE orientation session I have to go Until next TIME.
